Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, caring and reliable Qualified Dental Nurse to join our small, well-established private family dental practice. Working days are to to be confirmed, we are a private practice with a small NHS contract for children. We are looking for a nurse, who is also able to do decon and reception where necessary. The job is for Mondays and Tuesday's with the possibility of Thursday and Friday morning if applicant would like.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised.
- Provide a high-quality of patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes in accordance with practice protocols.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the dental surgery, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Decon duties and reception cover where necessary
- Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and managing patient enquiries.
- Follow infection control procedures diligently to prevent cross-contamination.
Experience
- Previous experience in dental nursing is essential, with a dental nursing qualification.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and administrative tasks (we use Dentally)
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
