Job Summary
We are seeking two dedicated House Clearance Operatives to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for clearing residential and commercial properties efficiently and professionally. Duties
- Safely removing furniture, household items, and waste from properties in accordance with company standards
- Ensuring all items are cleared from designated areas within specified timeframes
- Handling and disposing of waste responsibly, adhering to environmental regulations
- Assisting with loading and unloading of clearance materials using appropriate equipment
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of work areas during and after operations
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Following health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks during clearance activities
Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to carry out manual lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Organisation skills to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues
- Previous experience in clearance, removal services, or similar roles is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
- A responsible attitude towards safety procedures and waste disposal regulations
