Structural Steel Fabricator Job Description
Overview
Broadcliffe Steel is a growing company based in Halifax which has the ability to take on the majority of steel packages including but not limited to Structural buildings up to 200 ton, Architectural and Industrial staircase at most sizes, Signage, retail display, lighting, medical, office electrical, interior fit out etc. With a current team of 20 staff members with the same focus of making sure that every step of the process is completed to the highest standard we want to make sure the people that are added to our team have the same goal, Could that be you?
We are seeking 1-2 skilled structural steel fabricators to join our team on the heavy gauge side of the business which looks after the building, architectural building and staircases.
What we require
- Previous work in heavy gauge structural steel welding and fabricating.
- Experience working with fabrication drawings and being able to mark out plate positions, hole centers and any other fabrication requirements from the shaft and assembly drawings provided.
- Welding experience of fillet, butt and Multi run welds. Previous coding is preferred.
- Are able to work well with a team and take the lead is required.
- Motivated.
- Forward thinking and a good problem solver.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £16.50-£20.00 per hour
