Job Summary
The Little Mill Inn is a beautiful country pub nestled in the heart of Rowarth, on the edge of the Peak District. We're looking for an experienced, passionate, and driven General Manager to join our leadership team.
This is a shared General Manager position, working alongside an existing General Manager to oversee the day to day running of the business. Together, you'll ensure the pub continues to deliver exceptional food, drinks, service, and hospitality while leading and developing a fantastic team.
About the Role
Working in partnership with the other General Manager, you'll:
- Lead the daily operation of the pub, restaurant, and bar.
- Inspire, support, and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment, and training.
- Monitor stock, ordering, and supplier relations.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
- Help plan events.
- Maintain the warm, welcoming atmosphere that The Little Mill Inn is known for.
- Share responsibility for achieving business goals and maintaining high operational standards.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience within hospitality, preferably within management.
- Is a confident, approachable leader who enjoys working collaboratively.
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Leads by example and isn't afraid to get involved during busy services.
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Holds a personal license (preferred but not essential).
