The College is seeking to recruit a lecturer within the construction department. The post holder will deliver T level in Design, Surveying and Planning for construction, equipping students with industry- relevant practical skills in areas such as construction measurement, surveying techniques, design processes, and project planning. Learners will develop competence in interpreting technical drawings, applying digital engineering tools (CAD/BIM), and using industry- standard equipment including surveying instruments (e.g. total stations, GPS), as well as design software and modelling tools. Teaching will reflect current construction practices, including health and safety, sustainability, and project management, enabling students to apply mathematical and technical knowledge to real-world construction scenarios and employer-set projects.
