Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Guest Services Supervisor specialising in Housekeeping to join our housekeeping team. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient service delivery
- Monitor cleanliness standards across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities
- Assist with training and mentoring housekeeping team members to uphold company policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive guest experience
- Collaborate with other departments such as front desk and maintenance to facilitate smooth operations
- Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department
Qualifications
- Previous hotel experience is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of hospitality operations
- Proven janitorial or cleaning experience demonstrating attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required
- A professional attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding guest service

Pay: £12.81 per hour
