We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily operations within the restaurant environment.
- Supervise and support staff, ensuring they are trained and motivated to deliver excellent service.
- Participate in food preparation and production, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Help manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including kitchens and dining spaces.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving service quality and efficiency.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred, with a focus on food preparation and production.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and customers professionally.
- A background in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety within the workplace.
