We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in the key role of Quality Officer.
Working as part of our Assurance team, you will support the quality processes that underpin Scotland’s National Qualifications Framework. You will play an important role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the National Register of Qualifications, working with data from external organisations and supporting credit rating bodies and other stakeholders across Scotland.
The role
Full-time, Glasgow/hybrid
£28,500 – £37,000
This role would suit a person with SCQF level 7 equivalent skills or experience.
To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be confident working with data, including analysing survey results, producing reports and maintaining accurate records.
You will have experience of carrying out administrative tasks accurately and working positively with external organisations and colleagues. An understanding of quality assurance principles, and an interest in Scotland’s lifelong learning and qualifications landscape, would be valuable.
You will be adaptable, quick to learn and open to new ways of working. You will also have strong IT skills, including experience of Microsoft Office, Excel, data analysis, Power BI, SharePoint and MS Teams, or similar platforms.
The role will involve working with a wide range of stakeholders, including colleges, universities, credit rating bodies and other partners. You will also support quality assurance activity, the ongoing development of the National Register of Qualifications, workshops and webinars, and the work of our Quality Committee.
We are looking for someone who is committed to collaboration, continuous professional development and finding better and more innovative ways of working. An interest in the responsible and ethical use of AI and digital developments would also be an advantage.
