Stix & Stones Belfast is recruiting for an Assistant Manager.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in kitchen operations and team management, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role is pivotal in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that both staff and guests have a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations within the business.
- Supervise and train staff, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and best practices.
- Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Provide support in bartending duties during busy periods, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Help resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, complying with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role within a hotel or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with both staff and guests.
- Experience in food preparation and cooking is advantageous.
- Bartending experience is a plus but not essential.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
