Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 minimum to join our vibrant early childhood education team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to children, supporting their development in a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas.
- Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development through personalised care and educational programmes.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Observe, record, and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth running of daily routines and activities.
- Lead by example in demonstrating professional behaviour, management skills, and leadership within the nursery setting.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and external professionals to support children's well-being.
- Assist in organising outings or trips that enhance learning experiences outside the nursery setting.
- Ensure compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, and early years regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience working within a nursery or early childhood education setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Deep understanding of childcare principles and early childhood development practices.
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, demonstrating patience and empathy.
- Organised approach to planning activities and managing daily routines efficiently.
- Passionate about child welfare with a commitment to providing high standards of care and education.
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
