Are you looking for temporary work leading up to the festive season? We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Festive Season Warehouse Assistant to join our small team for the peak winter period.
No previous warehouse experience is necessary—we provide full, on-the-job training. However, because you will be handling large, bulky items every day, physical fitness and strength are essential for this role.
Duties
- Handle materials with care, ensuring safe loading, unloading, and movement of heavy furniture items throughout the warehouse
- Picking and packing
- Receive incoming deliveries, inspect items for damage or quality issues, and store stock appropriately
- Organising storage areas and maintaining a clean workspace. Sweeping and general housekeeping of the warehouse floor.
Contract Type: Fixed-Term (Seasonal)
Contract Dates: September 2026 – 21 December 2026
Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Preferably Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – flexible/negotiable for the right candidate). 30min unpaid lunch.
Safety Requirement: Due to the heavy nature of the work, all team members must provide and wear their own steel toe-cap boots on site.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
