Part-Time / Flexible Coach Driver
Established in 2005, SBC Coaches is a family-run coach operator based near Wickford, Essex. We operate a modern fleet of high-specification coaches and double-deck buses, providing a wide range of work throughout the UK and Europe.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced, reliable and customer-focused coach drivers to join our team on a part-time and flexible basis.
Whether you're looking for a few days a week, weekend work, term-time work, or simply want to fit driving around other commitments, we'd like to hear from you.
The work
Our work is varied, interesting and changes throughout the year. This can include:
- School contracts and school trips
- Private hire and group travel
- Sports teams
- Corporate clients and events
- UK tours
- European tours
- Theatre trips and day excursions
- Our own day excursion programme
- And much more
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a full Category D PCV licence
- Hold a valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
- Have at least 2 years' PCV/coach driving experience
- Have a good knowledge of London and the Essex area
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be reliable, professional and well presented
- Be flexible and willing to work a variety of duties
- Be available for some weekend work, depending on your availability
- Have European driving experience — an advantage, but not essential
