Voodoo DesignWorks is a creative signs and graphics company based near Aztec West, North Bristol.
We design, manufacture and install all kinds of signage and graphics for some amazing brands, businesses and destinations across the UK.
We’re looking for an experienced Production Assistant to join our team, helping manufacture, prepare and install the signs and graphics we produce.
This is a varied, hands-on role split between working in our production workshop and assisting our fitting teams on installations across the UK.
Day to day, you’ll be involved in vinyl application, print finishing, cutting and preparing materials, assembling signage and getting completed work ready for installation. You’ll also regularly head out with our fitting teams, helping install everything from straightforward graphics and signage through to larger, more unusual projects.
We’re looking for someone with previous experience within signage, large format print, graphics production, fabrication, installation or a similar practical environment. You don’t necessarily need to have done everything we do, but you should be comfortable in a workshop, confident using tools and equipment and equally comfortable working on site.
Experience in areas such as vinyl application, large format print finishing, sign making, fabrication, signage installation or working with plastics, aluminium and composite materials would be particularly useful.
You’ll best suit this role if you’re:
Experienced in a practical production, signage or manufacturing environment
Confident and capable working with your hands
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools and production equipment
Accurate with a good eye for detail
Happy working both in the workshop and out on site
Organised, reliable and able to work as part of a busy team
Someone who takes pride in producing and installing good quality work
A full UK driving licence would be beneficial due to the installation side of the role.
