We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team.
The Housekeeping role :
Cleaning of all public areas and suites to provide the highest level of guest experience.
Maintaining BOH area to make sure that it is clean and tidy.
Maintain and work towards a positive & safe working environment for all staff.
Support the sustainability ethos of the company in all aspects of the business.
Main Duties:
Report to Head Housekeeper daily to get the task lists for the day.
Prepare and load HK trolley of items for the days housekeeping.
Unload the delivered clean linen to the shelves ensuring they are stored neatly and in the correct place.
Prepare the correct linen and towels for the days housekeeping.
Washing and drying of uniforms, rags, guest laundry etc
Ensure that the Back of House store is kept neat and tidy and free of trip hazards
Ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standard as per the training.
Report any resident requests & incidents in a timely manner.
Report any damage and or faults in a timely manner as per the procedure.
Report any lost property as per the procedure
Report on any cleaning stock shortages that you are aware of so that products can be ordered in a timely fashion.
Ensure that all Health & Safety training is completed and updated as needed.
Ad-hoc tasks as required in a small team.
Be a hands-on member of the team, occasionally stepping into other areas as required by operational needs.
Build strong relationships with colleagues and service providers.
