Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and resident laundry
- Operate commercial laundry equipment
- Inspect linens for stains or damage and report any issues to management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Follow proper procedures for handling and storing linens
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a laundry setting is preferred
- Previous experience in a care home preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and residents.
