About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Pharmacy Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of three pharmacies across Chester, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership and organisational skills who is passionate about delivering high-quality pharmacy services while effectively managing multiple sites.
The successful candidate will ensure all pharmacies operate efficiently, maintain high standards of customer care, support pharmacy teams, and work closely with HR and senior management to resolve staffing and operational matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of three pharmacy branches, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Lead, motivate, and support pharmacy teams to achieve operational and business objectives.
- Address staffing issues, employee concerns, and workplace matters, escalating and reporting them to the HR department where appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, company policies, and professional standards.
- Monitor stock levels, ordering processes, and inventory management across all locations.
- Drive excellent customer service and ensure patients receive high-quality care.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of pharmacy staff.
- Manage rotas and staffing levels to ensure adequate cover across all pharmacies.
- Identify operational improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Work closely with senior management to achieve business targets and maintain service excellence.
- Handle operational challenges and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing a pharmacy or multiple pharmacy branches.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across different locations.
- Experience handling employee relations and liaising with HR.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy management systems.
