Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service in a lively environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently to customers
- Take orders and provide friendly, professional service to guests
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including organising stock and utensils
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems
- Restock supplies as needed throughout shifts
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables or seating areas when required
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and promote ongoing patronage
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Experience in serving or working within a restaurant or bar environment is desirable
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shift patterns and guest needs
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
