Essex Luxury Dog Boarding are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Kennel Worker to join our team. This is a hands on role caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Walking dogs according to their individual exercise requirements
- Preparing and feeding meals
- Cleaning kennels, exercise areas, and maintaining excellent hygiene standards
- Monitoring and recording dogs’ behaviour, health, and overall wellbeing
- Providing enrichment, play, and social interaction to create a positive boarding experience
- Assisting with the smooth day day running of the kennels
- Welcoming customers and assisting with dog check-ins and check-outs
Requirements:
- Confidence handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in animal care or 2 years of K9 studies
- Full, valid UK driving licence
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Excellent time management skills with a reliable and positive attitude
- Physically fit and able to carry out active, hands on work
