Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily bar activities, ensuring smooth service during busy hours
- Lead and motivate a team of bartenders and service staff to deliver excellent customer experiences
- Oversee food and beverage preparation, ensuring quality standards are met consistently
- Monitor compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar
- Assist with food production and preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and beverages
- Train new team members on service protocols, safety procedures, and product knowledge
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, serving, and barista skills
- Excellent understanding of food safety standards and food production processes
- Ability to oversee kitchen operations and support culinary teams in food presentation and quality control
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests
- Familiarity with hospitality software systems for inventory management and scheduling
