Customer Service and Operations Support Specialist - Trafford Park, Manchester
The Role:
- Customer support, order processing via email and phone.
- Enquiry handling via telephone and email. Problem-solving with the support of a full operations team In the U.K. and in Canada.
- Office-based role in our Manchester (Trafford Park) warehouse.
- Administrative involvement in customer enquiry / quote process.
- Order input and processing (in-house system)
- Communication with distribution partners, managing expectations and keeping all parties informed regarding order lifecycle.
- Ready to provide assistance when required in warehouse pick & pack process.
Skills required:
- Competent in using Microsoft Office (mainly Word & Excel)
- Good interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems & processes (full training provided)
- A desire to learn, take responsibility and progress
- Extra language(s) an advantage, but not essential
You will be a motivated self-starter with a desire to offer first class customer service.
Working in a small friendly team, you will be given all necessary training for familiarisation with our systems and processes.
We are based in Trafford Park, Manchester. MG Chemicals UK has grown considerably over recent years, hence the requirement to expand our team.
The role is driven by U.K. and EU sales, dealing with our distribution network partners who cover those markets.
This new position is another step in our U.K./EU growth program.
Due to the nature of the work, the role will be office/warehouse-based.
MG Chemicals is a Canadian manufacturer of maintenance products for the electronics industry. Our Manchester office is located in Trafford Park and serves the U.K. and EU.
With a growing presence in these markets, MG Chemicals has ambitious plans over the coming years.
Hours: Mon-Friday 8 hrs/day.
(Typically 9am-5pm but with some flexibility regarding start / finish times.)
