Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Breakfast Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our morning service, crafting delicious and visually appealing breakfast dishes that delight our guests. Your culinary expertise and attention to food safety will ensure a memorable start to every guest’s day. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your cooking skills in a dynamic environment where quality, efficiency, and enthusiasm are celebrated.
The dishes are mainly egg dishes, must have experience in making different types of eggs (poached, scrabbled and sunny side up) - dishes are - Shakshouka, Eggs royal, Full English, Turkish eggs and several types of Sandwiches.
The kitchen is a one person Job - its very compact but the dishes are simple.
Candidate must be able to multi-task, efficient and is able to make multiple dishes at once.
Recipe training will be provided until confident to work alone.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Manage food preparation stations, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver timely service during busy morning hours
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or reorder needs
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to ensure quality and minimize waste
- Assist in setting up breakfast buffet stations and ensuring all items are replenished promptly
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and hygiene standards
- Excellent culinary skills with an eye for detail in meal presentation
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, especially in breakfast or brunch service
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service when serving guests
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for creating delightful breakfast experiences
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
