We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Resourcing and Onboarding Specialist to join our Workforce Division on a Fixed Term/ Secondment basis. In this exciting role, you will manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns, partner with hiring managers to attract exceptional talent, and deliver an outstanding candidate experience from attraction through to onboarding.
You will support on recruitment initiatives and support hard-to-fill vacancies. You will also play a key role in onboarding, ensuring new starters receive a seamless and positive experience as they join the Trust.
The successful candidate will have experience managing recruitment campaigns, working with systems such as Trac, NHS Jobs and ESR, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. Knowledge of NHS recruitment processes, employment legislation, and UK Visa & Immigration requirements would be advantageous.
We're looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a passion for delivering a high-quality recruitment service. You will contribute to service improvements, support EDI initiatives, produce recruitment reports, and help shape innovative attraction strategies that support our workforce ambitions.

You will be responsible for managing resourcing activities including planning and attracting new employees to the Trust. Working collaboratively with hiring managers whilst providing advice and assistance during each stage of the recruitment process
You will ensure that the Trust has a visible presence recruiting locally and nationally. You will also lead on a variety of projects and campaigns whilst managing the recruitment pipeline in line with NHS employment checks standard and Trust policies.

Resourcing
2.1 Working in partnership with hiring managers, you will identify recruitment needs and provide expert advice and support throughout the hiring process. You will oversee the end-to-end recruitment journey, from vacancy creation through to the successful appointment of candidates
2.2 Develop and maintain specialist knowledge of UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations, Skilled Worker sponsorship requirements and right to work legislation. Provide advice and guidance to recruiting managers, candidates and colleagues on visa and sponsorship matters, ensuring the Trust remains compliant with all relevant immigration and employment legislation.
2.3 Support on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives within recruitment and onboarding, supporting the Trust's commitment to attracting, recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce.
Onboarding new joiners
3.1 Maintain contact with candidates in recruitment pipeline, introducing proactive processes to ensure positive recruitment experience post appointment.
3.2 Develop interventions to ensure that candidates have a seamless on boarding experience, including embedding the Trust welcome card process across the Trust.
Reports and Projects
4.1 Support the embedding of the Trust values in the recruitment and selection process. Update relevant recruitment information on the recruitment system.
4.2 Produce reports monthly including number of candidates in the recruitment pipeline
4.3 Support on projects as and when directed by the Recruitment Team Leader.
