We are looking for a new Corporate Health and Safety Administrator to assist the team.
The Corporate Health and Safety Team provides competent advice to all Services which includes Waste and Transport, Housing Maintenance, Grounds Maintenance, Street Scene and many others.

Working within the team, you will provide an efficient and effective administration and health and safety support to all internal Council services. This includes, maintaining Corporate Health and Safety inboxes, taking minutes, recording action for all Corporate Health and Safety Panels, and working groups, general administration support to the Corporate Health and Safety Team and maintaining and updating Corporate Health and Safety sites, systems and databases.
About you
We are a looking for a self-motivated team player. You will need to adapt quickly and work closely, providing guidance and advise, across all services within the Council. You should be able to demonstrate exceptional administrative skills and attention to detail, ability to work under pressure coordinating workloads and able to work to tight deadlines during busy periods.
You will be an effective communicator liaising with employees, managers and contractors as required.
You should have excellent IT skills and be proficient in the use of all Microsoft 365 apps. Have the ability to learn new systems and update and maintain the Council database and systems.
You should also:

have experience in a similar role
- have A - C or equivalent in Maths and English
- be able to work on a range of H&S Admin related activities.
- hold a current UK Driving Licence and have access to your own transport at all times.
