A DISTINCTIVE SALES OPPORTUNITY
SALES CONSULTANT
Self-employed | Commission-led | Flexible remote working | Periodic London attendance | Full company support
Stringstone is expanding its private client division and is seeking articulate, confident outbound Sales Consultants who can build rapport and sell effectively over the telephone. You will introduce a distinctive private intelligence and advisory service to senior businesspeople and high-net-worth individuals who value discretion, preparation and an intelligent conversation.
The opportunity
This is a consultative sales role rather than a scripted, high-volume call-centre position. You will receive prospect information, structured onboarding, product training, research assistance and senior support.
- Contact prospective clients by telephone and introduce the service with clarity and confidence.
- Ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully and relate the service to each prospect’s circumstances and priorities.
- Develop trust, handle questions professionally and guide suitable prospects through the sales process.
- Carry out concise preparation before calls and maintain accurate follow-up notes and pipeline records.
- Work independently while collaborating with colleagues where a sale involves separate opening and closing stages.
What we are looking for
- An excellent speaking voice: clear, engaging, credible and comfortable with senior-level conversations.
- A strong understanding of written English and the ability to absorb detailed briefing material.
- The confidence and commercial instinct to sell effectively by telephone; relevant sales experience is desirable but not essential.
- Maturity, discretion and professional judgement when speaking with senior businesspeople and high-net-worth individuals.
- Good listening skills, resilience and the ability to follow up consistently without using undue pressure.
- An interest in current affairs, finance, geopolitics, technology, health or international developments.
- Self-motivation and reasonable flexibility when contacting prospects across international time zones.
Support and working pattern
The role is primarily remote and self-managed, with periodic attendance at a London office—typically one to four times per month—and client meetings where appropriate. We provide leads, onboarding, product material, research support and guidance throughout the sales process.
Reward and selection
The position is highly rewarding with substantial earning potential, with full arrangements explained during selection. The process begins with a short introductory telephone call followed by a focused interview and Initial Assessment Period for successful candidates.
HOW TO APPLY
Please send your CV with a short note explaining your experience, the type of clients you have worked with and what makes you an effective communicator.
