Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated School Lunchtime Supervisor to oversee students during their midday break. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-organised environment for pupils, promoting positive behaviour and supporting their social interactions. Duties
- Supervise pupils during lunch periods, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- monitor lunchtime activities like football, basketball, and more.
- Monitor behaviour and promote respectful, inclusive conduct among students
- Assist with the organisation of lunchtime activities and games to encourage socialisation
- Enforce school rules and policies regarding behaviour and safety
- Report any concerns or incidents to the appropriate staff members promptly
- Maintain a clean and orderly lunch area, ensuring it remains safe and welcoming for all pupils
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support pupils' needs during lunchtime
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, nannying, or similar roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages and backgrounds
- Skills in driving are desirable for transporting equipment or supporting school activities outside normal hours
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus but not mandatory
- Experience in managing behaviour and promoting positive social interactions is beneficial
- A caring attitude, patience, and strong organisational skills are essential for success in this role

Pay: £18.00-£19.00 per hour
