Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a HOUSEKEEPER, where your attention to detail and passion for cleanliness will create welcoming and comfortable environments for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our property. Your energetic approach and dedication will ensure every guest experiences a pristine space that feels like home away from home. Your hours will be mainly mornings (approx. 9.00am-2.00pm) and will include at least one weekend day, most weekends.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to maintain a spotless environment
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to keep rooms fully equipped
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to promote a safe working environment
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold cleanliness standards
Requirements
- Previous hotel experience or cleaning experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and guest service expectations
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards guest satisfaction and team working
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus
