Job Summary
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced hospitality and events operators to run the catering and function operations at our prestigious golf club in Greater Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to establish and grow your business from our newly developed clubhouse, commercial kitchen, bar and function suite under an exclusive concession agreement from 2027.
This opportunity is perfect for an energetic company or events manager/operator who thrives in a lively hospitality environment, overseeing the operation of food services during events and daily club activities. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing your own team, and ensuring all food safety and quality standards are met. The successful operator will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality food services to members, visitors and golf societies, club events as well as your own calendar of events.
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the clubhouse kitchen.
- Marketing and growing the function room business, including weddings, celebrations, corporate events, wakes and community functions.
- Developing the venue as a destination for hospitality and events throughout the year.
- Recruiting, managing and training all hospitality staff.
We are looking for an ambitious operator with a proven track record in hospitality, catering, events or venue management who can demonstrate experience of growing sales and delivering exceptional customer service.The opportunity includes:
