Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, constructing and installing structures made of wood, metal, and other materials. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on various projects. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in construction and related trades to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Manufacturing and Constructing wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings according to specifications
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials
- Installing roofing systems, framing, or other structural elements
- Conducting heavy lifting of materials and components safely during construction activities
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in carpentry
- Skilled in operating power tools including drills, saws, grinders, and sanders
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and plans
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on-site
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure precision in all tasks
