What you’ll do
- Be the first point of contact for customers experiencing technical or connectivity issues
- Deliver exceptional customer service and keep customers informed throughout the incident
- Take ownership of incidents through to resolution or escalation
- Learn to troubleshoot network, connectivity and hardware issues
- Monitor customer networks and proactively identify issues
- Log and manage incidents accurately in ServiceNow
- Work with suppliers, telecoms providers and field engineers to resolve faults
- Escalate issues appropriately and learn from the wider engineering team
- Continuously develop your technical and customer service skills
What you’ll need to apply
- At least 12 months’ employment history in a customer-facing or professional environment
- A genuine interest in technology, networking or IT, and a passion for delivering great customer service
- A degree, college qualification or demonstrated learning in Computer Science, Networking, Cyber Security, IT, Telecommunications or a related field would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and colleagues
- A calm, positive and solutions-focused approach and a willingness to learn, accept feedback and continuously improve
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay composed under pressure
- The maturity and reliability to work to schedules and take responsibility
- Flexibility to work shifts from our Solihull office between 7am and 7pm, including occasional weekends
- Ability to obtain BPSS, SC and NPPV3 clearance

The nitty gritty
- Permanent, full-time position - 37.5 hours per week
- Solihull-based and office-based
- Monday - Friday shifts: 7:00am–3:30pm, 9:00am–5:30pm or 10:30am–7:00pm
- Once trained, occasional weekend shifts on a rota, with overtime and time off during those weeks
What you’ll be working with
We help businesses stay connected, secure and productive through managed network and security services. As part of our NOC team, you’ll gain exposure to technologies including:
- WAN, LAN and WLAN
- SD-WAN and next-generation networking
- Network security and firewalls
- Private and public sector connectivity
- Fixed Wireless and RAN technologies
- Cloud-managed networking platforms
You’ll also gain experience with leading vendors including Cisco, Meraki, Extreme Networks, Fortinet, Forescout and Infinet, supported by experienced engineers working across complex customer environments.
