Are you a passionate Sous Chef looking for a new challenge? We're looking for a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at the Red Lion and help us deliver great food across our pub and The Stag, our events venue.

The Red Lion is Joule's Brewery's flagship Taphouse and home to The Stag, our purpose-built events venue. As an independent Shropshire brewer with over 200 years of heritage, we're passionate about creating great pubs, brewing exceptional beer and delivering memorable experiences for our guests.
What you'll get up to
- Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Leading shifts and ensuring consistency during service
- Supporting and developing the kitchen team
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation
- Supporting food GP and labour control
- Helping deliver food for events at The Stag
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

What we're looking for
- Experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Chef de Partie ready for the next step
- Experience in a busy pub or restaurant kitchen
- A hands-on approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for food and consistency
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
