Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring prompt delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately at the point of sale
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, bar area, and service/back of house stations
- Assist in food preparation or setting up as needed, adhering to food safety regulations
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests or concerns
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service flow
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently, including food safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is preferred but not essential; a friendly personality and eagerness to learn are equally valued
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills with a professional attitude towards guest service
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as required
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences
Pay: £12.71 per hour
