We are a very busy airgun retailer located in Sleaford and North Rauceby. We are looking for someone to join our small team to undertake our weekly multi-drop delivery service of our online airgun sale orders.
You will have the use of a company vehicle for undertaking these deliveries. A typical delivery route would take 2-3 days, so overnight stays would be required. Our delivery service is a very personal and customer service focused role. On delivery, you will be the face of our company and so you should be well presented and approachable and have superb customer service skills. You will have to call to contact customers to make arrangements for their delivery. You will be expected to spend time with the customer on the doorstep, if required, answering any questions the customer may have.
Knowledge of shooting and airguns is not required but would be would be helpful, or willingness and interest to gain product knowledge would be an advantage, so that we can provide the best possible customer service. We would require you to have a certain level of airgun knowledge before commencing delivery runs, so period of time (approximately 2-4 weeks) will be spent in our shop to begin with whilst learning the basics on product knowledge.
Minimum 8 years of driving experience with a clean driving licence. As you would be on our Registered Firearms Dealer Certificate, police checks would be carried out prior to start date.
We require someone who has a good telephone manner to contact customers and arranging delivery.
Full time 35-40 hours over 3-4 days.
Weekend work may be required.
Starting wage of £13.50 per hour.
