Job Description: As an Experienced Barista, you will be the face of our café, providing friendly, efficient service and expertly preparing a variety of coffee beverages, and matcha drinks. You will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. Ability to do latte art is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and tea beverages to high standards
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Be able to do latte art, and make matcha drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the barista station and dining area
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Assist with stock management, including restocking supplies and rotating stock
- Uphold brand standards and contribute to a positive team environment
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Barista in a busy café or coffee shop environment
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a passion for quality
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- A friendly, positive attitude and team spirit
Qualifications:
Previous barista experience in a high-volume setting preferred
Barista training or certification is a plus but not essential
