Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Community Engagement Youth Worker to provide bespoke service for the young people leaving care and seeking independence as a stepping stone to adulthood. The ideal candidate will have experience in liaising with Police, Community engagement, social services, health practitioners, probation officers and more. It is imperative for the ideal candidate to be able to complete statutory obligations and advocate onbehalf of the young people.
Responsibilities include: - Deliver high quality support in a professional manner and taking decisions that aligns with the need of the young person.
-Ensure person-centred approach and engaging young person in matters that promote holistic wellbeing with activities such as daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility
- Ability to drive and transport young people as required.
- Degree, NVQ level 6 or equivalent
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
