Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a memorable experience, possess strong organisational skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Duties
- Serve drinks and food efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables
- Take orders accurately and process payments using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Restock bar supplies and ensure all beverages are prepared to standard
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with patrons in a friendly manner
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and adherence to licensing laws
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including food safety regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment
- Friendly, approachable personality with excellent communication skills
