WHY JOIN THE TEAM?
The Food, Farming and Factual team is part of the BBC Audio West of England and Wales department. The unit produces hundreds of programmes, mostly for Radio 4, BBC Sounds and the World Service. Our rural affairs and food output runs from Farming Today to the Food Programme via Rare Earth, This Natural Life, Tweet of the Day and many more. The BBC Food & Farming Awards are also produced by the team. Our factual programmes include the long-running language strand Word of Mouth with Michael Rosen, groundbreaking documentary series (The Patch, Legend), one-off features for Radio 4 and the World Service, and regular reactive features for Radio 4. We have a reputation for storytelling of the highest quality, and for being versatile, creative and collaborative partners with our colleagues across the BBC.
