The Role
As a Supply Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and providing a positive learning environment for pupils. Depending on the placement, you may be working across different year groups and school settings.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- Supporting pupils with their learning and development.
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress where required.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff.
Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
· Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
· Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
· Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
· Be comfortable delivering their own and pre-set lesson plans to range of children, dependant on the requirements of the school.
· Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
· Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
