We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day production operations within our busy exhibition, large format print and signage business.
This is a hands-on management role where you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget. You'll lead a skilled production team while coordinating multiple projects across exhibition graphics, vehicle branding, interior and exterior signage, and large format print.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily workflow of the production department.
- Plan and schedule production to meet customer deadlines.
- Lead, motivate and develop the production team.
- Oversee the manufacture and finishing of exhibition graphics, signage and display products.
- Manage the production of vehicle graphics, wraps and fleet branding.
- Coordinate the manufacture and installation of internal and external premises signage.
- Ensure all large format printing is completed to exceptional quality standards.
- Maintain quality control throughout every stage of production.
- Manage stock levels and order production materials.
- Ensure machinery is maintained and operating efficiently.
- Work closely with the sales, design and project management teams.
- Continually improve production processes, efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain a safe, organised and compliant working environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Production Manager or Senior Production role.
- Strong knowledge of large format printing and finishing processes.
- Experience producing and installing vehicle graphics and wraps.
- Experience manufacturing and installing premises signage, including internal and external signage systems.
- Excellent understanding of vinyl application, laminating, cutting, routing and finishing.
- Experience operating or managing equipment such as wide-format printers, laminators, CNC routers and vinyl cutters.
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good IT skills and familiarity with production workflow software.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience within the exhibition and events industry.
- Knowledge of fabric graphics and exhibition display systems.
- Installation experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
