JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a reliable part time Bar Person / Front of House Assistant to work at Chill Champagne Bar, our private function venue in Barnsley.
This is a temporary/casual role, mainly required when we have booked functions. Shifts will usually be on Saturdays, normally from around 5pm until approximately 1am on Sunday.
Duties will include serving drinks, working behind the bar, collecting glasses, keeping the bar area clean and tidy, and helping provide good customer service during private events.
Pay will be National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage for the successful candidate’s age group.
This role is not regular weekly work at this stage, but there may be further opportunities within the organisation for the right candidate who proves to be reliable, punctual and able to work to a high standard.
Skills needed
Applicants must have 1 to 2 years’ proven bar or front of house experience.

Reliable and punctual
Confident serving drinks behind a bar
Able to provide friendly and professional customer service
Able to work late evening shifts, mainly on Saturdays
Able to keep the bar area clean and organised
Comfortable collecting glasses and helping with general front of house duties
Able to work well as part of a team
Smart, presentable and professional when dealing with customers
Flexible, as shifts will depend on booked functions
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
