Cally Palace Hotel & Golf Course is situated in Gatehouse of Fleet, approximately 14 miles west of Castle Douglas.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using hotel management software
- Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries
- Handle guest requests promptly, resolving issues with a positive attitude and proactive approach
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are addressed swiftly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel reception or customer service roles preferred, with a strong focus on guest services
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle inquiries professionally
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest records
- Ability to remain energetic, positive, and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
