Were looking for a knowledgeable and detaildriven Sprinkler Remedials Estimator to join our Sprinklers Projects team. In this role, youll play a key part in assessing remedial requirements, preparing accurate costings, and supporting the delivery of highquality fire protection solutions across commercial, industrial, and retail environments.
Youll work closely with our design, project, and service teams to ensure remedial works are scoped correctly, priced effectively, and aligned with industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong sprinkler system knowledge who enjoys problemsolving, technical analysis, and contributing to safe, compliant project delivery.
What you will be doing

Reviewing service reports, surveys, and technical documentation to identify required remedial works.

Preparing accurate estimates, costings, and quotations for sprinkler remedial projects.

Working closely with design, project, and service teams to validate technical requirements and ensure proposals meet relevant standards.

Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to clarify scope, discuss options, and support decision-making.

Supporting project planning by providing clear breakdowns of materials, labour, and resource requirements.

Ensuring all remedial proposals comply with LPC Rules, BS EN 12845, and other applicable regulations.

Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, cost efficiencies, and opportunities to enhance service delivery.
A typical week might include

Reviewing multiple service reports and converting them into clear remedial proposals.

Visiting sites to validate technical information or assess complex remedial requirements.

Collaborating with the Head of Design & Estimating on larger or more complex projects.

Preparing quotations and supporting commercial discussions with clients.

Updating internal systems, documentation, and cost databases to maintain accuracy and compliance.
Who we are looking for
Were seeking someone with strong technical understanding, commercial awareness, and confidence working with sprinkler system standards.
Essential qualities include:

Proven experience within the fire sprinkler industry, ideally in estimating or project management.

Strong technical knowledge of sprinkler systems and standards (LPC Rules, BS EN 12845).

Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Experience managing or supporting multiple projects or estimates simultaneously.

Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost control.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Highly organised with strong problemsolving abilities.

Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).

Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
-
LPCB Basic or Advanced Qualification.

SMSTS qualification or CSCS Manager Card.

Experience in industrial, warehousing, or retail environments.

Knowledge of BIM, AutoCAD processes, or digital construction platforms.
