Jones Food Company, a leading innovator in vertical farming, is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in constructing and maintaining our state-of-the-art vertical farm based in Lydney, Gloucestershire.
Working Pattern - 4on4off Days 7am-7pm
Basic Duties -

Perform routine servicing in line with the agreed schedule

Respond to breakdowns / Callouts

Maintain and repair automated control systems
-
Electrical installation
-
Monitor and maintain irrigation system
-
Basic servicing of VNA machines
-
Assist with ongoing projects and improvements
-
Maximise equipment uptime
Requirements -
-
Fully Qualified Electrician
-
Knowledge of commercial / industrial wiring systems
-
Solid mechanical ability
-
Excellent housekeeping and quality of work
-
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
-
Within a 30 minute radius of JFC2
Desirable Skills -

2391 / AM2
-
Apprenticeship trained
-
IPAF
-
FLT Licence
-
PASMA
-
Experience with automation and control systems

Experience with irrigation systems
