Blachford UK Ltd, part of the global Blachford Acoustics Group, is a leading manufacturer of high-quality acoustical and thermal products for the industrial vehicle sector.
Due to current manufacturing demand, we are seeking an additional team member for our production facility in Holmewood, Chesterfield.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing agricultural and acoustic products to specification, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality with minimal delay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and equipment to manufacture agricultural and acoustic products.
- Assemble components and carry out required processing steps according to specifications.
- Perform quality checks and final inspections to ensure products meet standards.
- Work according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Process Working Instructions (PWIs).
- Report any issues to team leaders promptly.
- Correctly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas and machinery.
- Ensure production deadlines are met efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to company health and safety procedures and standards.
To be successful, you will:
- Have good practical skills with the ability to follow instructions.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and focus on the task at hand.
- Work methodically and efficiently, even on repetitive tasks.
- Be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£13.38 per hour
