Care Assistant Days
Morecambe Care Limited is committed to providing the highest standards of person-centred care to all residents in our 4 Care homes.
We are looking for Care Assistants to become part of our company’s passionate care giving teams. The candidates will interact directly with residents, providing all aspects of care as required.
We are searching for dedicated, compassionate, and caring individuals who have a passion to help others. The shifts will be on a rota basis including weekends and bank holidays.
Responsibilities
· Assist residents with all elements of personal care helping with dressing, washing, bathing and personal hygiene where necessary.
· Help with organisation of social activities, participate in them, and help promote residents’ esteem, physical and mental wellbeing. Accompany residents on community visits as required.
· To monitor resident’s health needs and liaise with Senior/Manager as necessary.
· To assist with reviewing, updating and implementing Care plans for individuals in line with their personal wishes and preferences.
· Maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff and visitors.
· Follow company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements of the Care Quality Commissioning Group.
· To undertake other duties as necessary.
Qualifications

Minimum of 1 Year Care Experience
Care Certificate Desirable
NVQ2 In Health and Social Care Desirable
Ability to work as part of a team, good communication skills, kind and caring
Personal Protective Equipment available
Pay and Benefits
£12.71 - £13.50
An enhanced DBS check is required (arranged by Morecambe Care Limited).
A Government approved NEST Pension scheme is offered to all staff.
We do not currently offer sponsorship.
Hours - 8.00am - 8.00pm
Training - All staff are supported and encouraged to acquire and develop relative skills and competencies to advance their performance in their current role and progress to higher levels.
Staff will be supported to study for NVQ’S.
