We are an Ofsted Outstanding, highly regarded, busy private Day Nursery open all year round from 8am - 6pm. We are an accredited Curiosity Approach setting and knowledge of this would be advantageous.
We are looking to recruit a qualified (preferably Level 3 or above), enthusiastic, motivated, articulate and experienced Nursery Practitioner to work alongside a dedicated and experienced staff team.
Butterfly Room (3 - 4 yr. olds)
Days/hours of work, all year round:
Monday 8.45am – 4 pm
Tuesday 8.45am – 6 pm
Wednesday 7.45am – 4 pm
Thursday 7.45am – 4 pm
Friday 8.45am – 6 pm
Start Date: July 2026
The successful candidate will contribute to all aspects of the room including, developing nurturing relationships with families and children. You will assume the role of a key person contributing to providing inspirational invitations for the children informed by their interests and stage of development. We follow the ‘In The Moment’ approach to planning which is child centred with no predetermined outcomes. Knowledge of Tapestry would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

Salary: £14.19 per hour
This is a full time position; we are open for 50 weeks a year, closing for 2 weeks at Christmas. You are entitled to 5.6 weeks annual leave per year. Our Nursery is closed on bank holidays, you are paid for bank holidays and these are taken off your holiday allowance.
