Storeman – Kingsway (Days)

About the Role
Solomon Commercials are looking for reliable and proactive Storemen to join our busy Stores Department at our Knowsley Road site. You will play a key role in supporting production by ensuring materials, parts and components are accurately received, stored, and issued to the shop floor.
Responsibilities
Receiving deliveries and checking them against purchase orders
Booking in stock using internal systems
Issuing parts to production teams across the site
Maintaining a tidy, well‑organised stores area
Carrying out stock checks and stock rotation
Supporting other stores colleagues as needed
Reporting shortages, delays, or discrepancies promptly
Using an FLT to empty skips and unload stock
Undertake any other reasonable tasks as directed by the line manager
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a stores/warehouse role (preferred but not essential)
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic IT literacy
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Physically active
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
