Hours: 7.30am-9.00am on Monday to Friday Term Time with the option to work additional hours at Choo Choo's Day Nursery and Preschool as a Nursery Assistant. Start date - September 2026.
Choo Choo's Day Nursery and Preschool provide exceptional standards in childcare for 0-11 year olds. As well as operating as a Nursery and Preschool, Choo Choo's Day Nursery and Preschool work in partnership with St Andrews Church School to run a Breakfast Club (based at St Andrews) and an Afterschool Club (based at Choo Choo's).
We are looking for a Breakfast Club Assistant to work from 7:30am to 9:00 am Monday to Friday term-time only. You will be playing sports with children, engaging in arts and crafts and looking after children between the ages of 5 to 11. We are looking for candidates with experience of working with children, who ideally hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification, but this is not essential.
If you have experience with working for children and want an opportunity to work part time, this role may be perfect for you.
Job Description:
- Look after children from the hours of 7:30am - 9:00am (7.5 hours per week, term time only)

- Supervise and ensure all play and activity is fun and engaging
- Ensure children are safe and happy
- Participate in children’s group games
- Support children’s art and craft work
- Prepare breakfast for the children
