An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Contracts Cleaning Manager to join our growing Commercial Cleaning Company. You would be responsible for approx 18 schools in and around various locations in Hertfordshire and some surrounding areas. You would be required to make regular visits to your sites, which will involve some early mornings and evenings so flexibility with working hours is vital, you must be willing and able to travel between sites a company Van will be supplied to enable you to do this, you may also be asked to assist you colleagues if required, you will need to be to organised have good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work under your own initiative. You will report directly to the Head of Operations.
The role requires excellent relationship and decision making skills, the ability to remedy shortfalls, complete audits, attend client meetings, develop and mentor cleaning Supervisors and operatives within your portfolio. You will also need to ensure your sites operate within given budgets and keep all clients fully up to date on all operational and performance areas of contracts.
Knowledge of overseeing the cleaning in schools an advantage.
You will need to be able to demonstrate both verbal and written skills and have knowledge of IT ( email, outlook etc). Part of the role includes payroll for your sites ordering of stock etc.
This position comes with a company van and fuel card for day to day company use

This is a permanent full time position mainly Monday - Friday to suite the contracts under your remit.
Salary of up to £35,000.00 per year
