Akwaaba Botanicals is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic person to work at our weekend market stalls. We sell natural botanical drinks and teas inspired by African ingredients, including hibiscus, moringa and baobab.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and packing away the market stall
- Welcoming customers and explaining our products
- Offering samples and encouraging sales
- Taking card and cash payments
- Keeping the stall clean, attractive and well stocked
- Recording daily sales and remaining stock
- Helping transport products and equipment where required
We are looking for someone who:
- Is confident, approachable and comfortable speaking with customers
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Has a positive attitude and an interest in natural drinks or healthy products
- Is comfortable standing and working outdoors for several hours
- Can safely lift and move boxes, bottles and stall equipment
- Has previous retail, hospitality, sales or market experience—although training will be provided
This role would suit a student or someone looking for regular weekend work. There may also be opportunities for additional shifts as Akwaaba Botanicals expands to more markets across London.
Pay: From £13.50 per hour
