Builders Cleaning Operative
Location: Tidworth
Rate of Pay: £14.00 per hour
Contract: 6 Months (Starting mid June 2026)
Hours: 8am-4pm
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Builders Cleaning Operative to join our team on a large-scale construction project comprising 15 buildings. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major development, delivering high-quality builders cleans across accommodation blocks over a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out builders cleans to a high standard across accommodation blocks.
- Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, corridors, stairwells, and communal areas.
- Removing construction dust, debris, and ensuring areas are ready for handover.
- Following site-specific health and safety procedures at all times.
- Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Reporting any issues, defects, or safety concerns to site management.
Requirements
- Previous builders cleaning experience is preferred.
- Alternatively, experience working in a construction site cleaning role will be considered.
- Good understanding of construction site environments and safe working practices.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations and health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to undergo and successfully complete a security clearance process.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
